The Boston Bruins raised their 2011 Stanley Cup Championship banner and lifted the Stanley Cup in a 30 minute ceremony prior to their season opener vs the Philadelphia Flyers, on October 6, 2011.

Not shown on Vs were two videos prior to the dimming of the lights, and the introduction of the coaches and front office staff during the commercial break where Claude Julien received a nice ovation.

@lingomrocks the one thing that irks me more than people hating on the Bruins is whining Habs fans seeking respect for the fact that they had millions of $ poured into their team during a time when there was no salary cap and won 24 cups. fact of the matter is that you havent won in almost 20 years and I doubt you ever will again, with the team of divers and pussies you have.
