In Lebanon, there are many different cultures and religions. when are we going to understand this and accept our differences. You immigrate to other civilize country, and you speak their language, and you didn't learn anything from them.

I was in Tripoli and El Mina a few weeks ago and I was very positively surprised about the place! OK so it's not near as glitzy and liberal as Beirut but definetly worth visiting, alone for the sweets. Many governments currently warn you from travelling there but thanks to the road checks an police presence I never felt unsecure. I can recommend a trip there.

So its cool if you drink alcohol and party all night ... So what if you can't drink in a city its Primary religion forbids Alcohol ...
The will to live ( al raghba bil 3aysh wal 7ayat ) isn't necessarily accomplished by these Pubs !
All this city needs is less budget cuts and more benefits from the government and it will truly be Lebanon's Second Capital !

love you Tripoli.. and el mina is part of tripoli, its 1 city.. my town is noway near tripoli but it looks like a beautiful place. Long Live Lebanon

i am from tripoli and i can say tripoli is a dead place.. there are few small pubs in Mina and thats all...
Tripoli is a very poor place but it can be alot better if the government put some money on fixing the city
