*Update*
Decided to update the description of my video seeing how I am getting a lot of similiar questions. Its not that I don't mind answering them, but sometimes it takes me awhile to get back to people. I want you to have your answer immediately so you can kick a$$ on P90x sooner lol.
So there are basically 4 questions I keep getting.
1.) How much weights did you use?
Answer: I used only 10 lbs dumbells the entire 1st round. Yes that is correct two 10 lbs dumbells and you can still get great results. *Note* You may see that I used 20 lbs dumbells in the video. This video was created after my 1st round. I am currently using 20 lbs dumbells and resistance bands on my 2nd round.
2.) What supplements did you use?
Answer: The only supplements I used and currently use is Super Advance Body Fortress Whey Protein. (chocolate flavor if you had to know :P) This protein can be bought at Wal-mart and othe retailers. Wal-mart had it cheapest for around $13. The reason I bought this was because it has good amount of protein per serving and its easy on the wallet. Get a buck off on any product if you become a fan on their facebook page http://www.facebook.com/bodyfortress. This will help save a bit their shakes!!!
3. What program did you do?
Answer: I choose to do the Classic program of P90x. That is all I did no more no less!
Lastly and probably the most asked Diet
4.) What was your diet like or did you follow the nutrition guide?
Answer: I followed the guide loosely and by that I mean I used the outline of the guide. There are phases in the nutrition guide. Each phase has a ratio of protein/carbs/fats. This is what I would follow during each phase.
I wanted to keep my meals really super, use what was available, and of course easy on the wallet. Below is what my daily routine was.
Wake up at 7:30 am
Workout at 8:00am on empty stomach
Drink Whey Protein Shake right after workout
Have Breakfast at 9:30-9:45am of Plain Oatmeal use water to mix only!!
Snack at 12pm on fruit
Lunch at 2pm on turkey sandwich no mayo or cheese. Or make a salad with the turkey and use none to very light dressing
Snack at 4pm of fruit or yogurt whaterver floats your boat
6pm another snack of your choice just make sure its healthy
7:30 pm Dinner. This would usually be some sort of grilled meat with boiled veggies. Preferrably chicken.
Then sleep at around 10 pm
If there is a question you still have feel free to ask.
Well I hope this helps in your quest for glory. Keep it real keep it simple and bring it each time.
So I was excited to hit my Day 60 of P90x and wanted to make a vid to track my progress also. I know this video will continue to motivate me and possibly motivate others to get up and get active. It doesn't matter if your using P90x or not just get up and get healthy :D. I have 30 days to go and my P90x grad date is June 13th so watch for it. Oh yeah Thanks for watching and please all questiosn and comments are welcomed.
