High Definition is 1920x1080pixels. The XBox does not support this resolution. The highest the system supports is 720x480, although I keep it at 640x480 which for a display on a CRT Television is very nice indeed. Especially since the XBMC has been so well made and includes image filters to reduce the flicker you'd normally get with high resolutions. Great video by the way

@nicholasthetaylor Technically 1280x720 (720p) is "high definition" and the XBOX can do both 720p and 1080i with component cables. Not many games supported it but there were a few HD capable games. Plus not many people actually had the component cables since they were harder to find at the time.

when i had my oringinal xbox i played alot of pacman world 2 until it over heated i miss it now i got a 360 my original xbox didnt have a chip and it wasnt soft modded do have games for yours now

I hated Xbox until i played halo 2

and now im considering getting a 360 just for Halo 3

i hated xbox to i still kind of do man theres a few games i like such as jsrf sega gt ts series gta driver and chase holly woodstunt driver among the other few , its jjust lame

Hi guys, really need to know. When I mod my friends Xbox with nDure, would setting XBMC as the dash allow my rfriend to still play Xbox games? Or can I dual boot in some way?

@MN12BIRD i love it with component. looks great! vids are nice on it and the interface looks nice and crispy at 720p and it runs quite fine at that resolution

@ach11les Actually I only went through one other one and nothing happend to it I just ended up selling it and getting this one later. I've been lucky with these no problems with either one.

in the video you mentioned that you went through 3 of the xboxes, is that becuz modding them voids the warranty or becuz of something else like overheating. i really want to mod one of these things becuz i have one laying around but i wont if they are prone to copping out and not working anymore.

the original xbox is a great system! Your Xbox is modded..why?...Your a Sega fan. You can pick a lot of great Sega games for the first Xbox like: Panzer dragoon, shenmue 2, otogi, gun valkyrie and jet set radio.

Try to play some games on the Xbox. The Xbox is not a pc it`s a great console!

I am compeletly pissed of right not at video great vid.

My dad never bought any of my systems new and when he did he get me a xbox it had evo x. He bought out of country so I just write it off as a different country thing. Thats probably why I could play games burnt off of disks. Thats a couple hundred dollars down the drain on video games. If your are a parent and you buy something from a shady person ask them if the console is hacked it will save your children money
