  • is that a standard tele with a custom body?

  • @alionfacesymphony I shaped the body from a solid piece alder just to see if i could. I used the neck and electronics from a Squier tele. I also used the existing tele body as a template for the placing of the pickups and the neck cavity. The second incarnation came out a bit cleaner only 1 pickup on the bridge and the volume and tone pot access from the back of the guitar. I'll try to post a vid of the new one.

  • 0:18 says fender

  • @rhundas98 It actually says Squier. I used the neck and electronics from a cheap tele I had laying around.

  • @joegroove i'd like to hear the new one. what kind of pickups were in your squier tele? alnico?

  • @ztev13 None taken. I'm not a musician by any stretch and don't play any instruments. I started making guitars because my kids both play. That was the best sound I could get from my casio camera.
