Nancy Wake was the most decorated woman of the Second World War, and she was also the Gestapo's most wanted spy. She has been my idol for many years.
Nancy passed away on 7th August, 2011, at the age of 98.
While this tiny little video can hardly do her justice, I hope that people who watch this will be willing to go out and learn more about this remarkable woman.
I used clips from an interview she did for the ABC in 1987, and later for New Zealand television in 2005.

Good Job on the Vid. I stumbled across your vid while i was doing a little sniffing around the net for one of my Australian Idols Russell Braddon. Nancy's Story is amazing and is truely one of the greatest Australians, a women who only thought of others first and how best she could help them deafeat or escape the evils of Nazi Germany and also the Vichy French. It seems Cadel Evans's efforts in France where still better than Nancy's in both the Australian Media's and Governments Eye's.Rip Nancy
