I believe this is a Jimmy Driftwood song. Jimmy was featured at our graduation breakfast at Peabody College 1959. He played the long bow somewhat like a Jew's harp. Jimmy's wife was a full blooded Indian. He was a school teacher.

My pop was 89 when he died. The last song he wanted to hear before he left the earth was Tennessee Stud. if your listening, Pop, this is for you. If you see Doc Watson up there ask him to pick it for you.
