  • What kind of LEDs are you using and where do you get them from? I really enjoy your videos and have learned a great deal from watching them.

  • I order mine from ulrich models. They are micro surface mount leds. Ill have a video of them up soon. Thanks!

  • Where do you get the LEDs I would like to start useing them?

  • I get mine from Ulrich models. Theyre about 3.50 a piece I believe.

  • Nice. How many gevos is this now? 5? 6? What number is this one going to be?

  • Did you use the 9-pin from the athearn board and plug it into the sound decoder?

  • Really like your videos! One thing about your speakers though... The Tsunami is rated for an 8 ohm load. by wiring two 8 ohm speakers in series your are presenting a 16 ohm load to the decoder. Safe, but not ideal for volume. Try to find 4 ohm speakers and wire them in series. That will present the appropriate 8 ohm load to the decoder. Or, if you can find 16 ohm speakers, two of them can be wired in parallel. Very nice clean install though!

  • hahaha...your so welcome bud. Always look forward to when we meet up.

  • Very nice, Ive done dual speakers too, but this is where in can get confusing for some. According to Soundtraxx, written and verbally with a phone call, J told me to wire the speakers in parallel. ??? Also, Ive been using the same LEDs too, same source, Ulrich are great folks to deal with. Just placed an order today. You can see some of my locos in action on TMandN channel or mine.

  • I have the same LEDs yet to install!.I also have the tower LEDs for headlights too. This is my fall project to install them in my SD40-2F Redbarn! Also at this time I would like to say thanks to WestCoastRails for these as they were a gift from him!

  • Looking good keep it up!
