For your consideration, I propose "the face" may be a human-Martian representation of the fierce Kerubim, Sammael, the sharpest eyed being in creation whom Jehovah gave dominion over Mars. The sculpture shows him at his moment of supernatural transition between man and lion, the man's face on the left as we see it, the lion's on the right. Sammael is Jehovah's dynamic angel of death, a ferocious "hit man" sometimes considered interchangeable or one in the same with both Satan and Michael.

Moon images are mostly in black and white so the color editing method doesn't work. Nevertheless many buildings and structures there. Others are better in finding moon anomalies. Watch the movie Moonrising. There they have pretty good idea of what is really going on.

Sometimes it helps if you lighten the red color and darken the yellow. In other cases the oposite sequence or only darken the reds. If you want more details let me know.

@RoscoesRiffs Well done. Sammael to day is worshiped by the new world order. It is funny the fact that this angel will have all of his power taken away from him and he will be seen as just a man and the world will wonder at him. This is in the future.

these pattern effects are not on every nasa/esa pic.... this appears just on a few areas on mars......

I was wondering what makes cydonia special. After all there are a handful of places much the same on Mars, same "monuments" and amazing thingies. I think the difference is Cydonia is made of Gold. That's why it's so special for the "middlestream". On a side note: before being re-baptized it used to be called Eden. Good vid.
