Steam Locomotive 3801 shunting at Sydney Terminal

Captured 17th March 2007, we first see diesel loco 4916 haul the Cockatoo Run heritage cars into Sydney Terminal (Central) platform 4.

Meanwhile, the famous 3801 is waiting on the middle road, shunts forward and then propels back to couple onto the cars.

Interestingly, a Millennium Train arrives on platform 6 in the background.

Why is the millenium train interesting?

When I look at the 3801 sitting beside the new passenger trains in this video, there's really no contest. The 3801 (and most of her contemporaries) had a character that no modern train could match.
