The ONLY John Deere X320 review on Youtube, And its my first HD vid to boot.
For the next 12 days I have a Jd320 mower in my possession. I am going to break it in for the new owners and they gave me permission to do a review on it.
It is a 2009 X320, 48''deck, 22hp Kawasaki motor, it will be used to mow 3 acres of grass and also used to pull a small trailer and aerator. Once I get the deck Graphite coated I will make a mowing video.

  • Nice review. I have the same mower and love it. The deck on this mower is a heavier gauge than on the L series. The L series has only two wheels on the deck. I would say the x320 is twice the mower of the L series, hence twice the price too. If this is your neighbors mower what do you use?

  • Its my parents mower, I use a CC 1554, a JD Ztrak m655, and when its working a CC 3225. I still have the john deere at my house, my parents have my CC 1554.

  • you have a beautiful yard

  • I bought this model today..It is awesome..Had an old Lt 133..This is light years ahead of that..Smooth, solid, such easy steering and the motor is strong..Plus quiet..

  • @flanksteak2 Someone else mentioned the BBC, I’ll admit that I’m not good with that end of a lawn mower, but I can’t hear anything that sounds bad or abnormal.

  • @Roushfan5 No bearing noise from your BBC?

  • @flanksteak2 I’ll admit that I’ve had carb problems with mine, the float is sticky and so it floods the engine and packs the cylinder full of fuel sitting a few days, messy and makes it a bitch to start. But I don’t really care because it still runs prefect and as long as I shut the fuel value off I have no problem.

Besides the previous owner left gas in the damn thing for 5 years I don’t begrudge the minor problem. One day I’ll rebuild the carb and it will be a flawless 20 yr. lawnmower.

  • @Roushfan5 No, those Kawasakis on the walk-behinds suck. They ALWAYS have carb problems.

  • Nice Kawasaki, they makes he best small engines. I love the one on my little walk behind John Deere, its been such a a good engine. It only has carb problems, but that could happen to any engine over ten years old. Half of those years it was stored with old gas in the tank by its former owner. Its also pretty fuel efficient and a fast bugger as well, in top gear you have to run to keep up with it.

  • Nice machine but why would the owners give it to you to break it in?

  • very nice machine my friend bought i john deere x 540 with power steering and fully servicable tranxaxle im thinking about purchasing a john deere l series for myself nice review i like the way you made this video thumbs up :)

  • @k9mondo The deck is pretty easy to take off, but the first time is a bit of a bear to do. The only trick is pulling the pedal to lower the deck and locking it in the lowest position. After you do that, turn the wheels, pull the J pins on the arms, and you are on your way. Also, I'd put a couple of 2X4's under the deck before you lower it, it makes it ALOT easier to work the Jpins out....
