Over the course of months, a herd of two became three, then four, and now five. Here, they are all running around, after meeting the fifth member.

You can hear me saying, "Hey, eaaaaasy you guys!" This is silly because, of the four horses running after the new horse, three are mostly untrained to verbal commands still, and one is deaf.

I keep focusing in on one particular horse -- that's a little deceiving. I keep focusing in on *my* horse (the young curly buckskin pinto). She isn't the new horse. She was the third addition to the herd.

And apologies for shaky hands. I need a tripod.

  • I have just purchased a new horse. I am introducing her to the rest of the herd(4). It is harder than I thought. How long did keep them seperate?

  • Sorry, I didn't check back on this video for a long time!!! I'm sure that by now, all is well and happy between your horses. :)

  • Hey there - curious to know about your deaf horse - which one? I have a deaf mare, 8yr old APHA overo.

  • The deaf horse is the overo with the white face and white legs. Her owner sold her, though, which was sad for me because I really liked her.

  • I love your horses coloring. I also have a paint horse. thanks for posting its very cute

  • OH that a bummer!

  • I just love her, too. :) She was The Boss Mare, but got along well with all of the horses.

Her owners have recently sold her for a smaller horse, though. I miss her.

  • My bad, sorry ^_^
