Same here. Our maid told me to watch this when i was jus 7 yrs old. It was too scary.

Oh my gosh!
I remember when I was maybe 3 or 4 my uncle made me and my cousins watch this movie! I can remember the spider sticking it's legs through the window during the dance scene! And some of the scenes where it was walking through the town as well!
I blame this movie for my arachnophobia...

IMHO, old films like this (also Tarantula 1955) that use real spiders superimposed on the film beats modern computer animation any day.
