During an intense lightning storm in Tornado Alley a lightning bolt hit a power pole only 20 feet away. Mike Theiss of UltimateChase.com captured it on video as sparks flew down. Video was shot May 25th, 2000 on digital-8 video.

  • Yes, you can hear Jim Leonard in the background. But the voice that says "Oh it hit that pole", that is Randy Zispher (I probabkly spelt his last name wrong, sorry Randy).

  • @HellAngelsBells, nothing. The car works as a Faraday cage(look on wiki). They are save in there. It would have been much more dangerous if they would not have been in the car, I think.
