Robert Morey's National Mail Fraud: "Morey's Fraudulent Mailings to Gain Money & Support" #1

Radio host & self proclaimed "scholar" Bob Morey, who has demonstrated that no lie is too great as long as somebody believes it, steps into the abyss of transgression when he is actually bold & desperate enough to perpetrate mail fraud on the American public in violation of Unites States Title 18, #875 of the US Code. Morey, having defrauded his two former unpaid volunteers (Wessels brothers from Texas) out of $23,000 of their loan money to Morey's ministry (these loans are documented in Morey's REF 1992 IRS tax return, see other Youtube videos) decides he must "cover his tracks" lest prople realize what really happened. Thus Morey embarks on a "secret bank account & embezzlement" conspiracy theory sent out by national bulk mail to deceive the public. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." WOW! Now wait a minute, I'm trying to understand everything. BM have been involved in criminal acts? I use to go to his bible studies way back when he was in Belflower. I haven't to his new church but once because it's to far to drive. This is news to me. And he's retiring and leaving Ca. too? Has his church closed yet? Thanks for the info.

Please do a yahoo or google search on MOREYLINKS & when the links come up hit the first one that says "Important Dr. Robert Morey Links" (should be the first one). Once you are on the links page you will have all kinds of evidence to review about Morey's criminal acts. One reason Morey left California is to escape the CA Department of Corporations investigation of his illegal acquisition of his church building.

We have been trying to get this to court (in the last 3 weeks Morey has been reported for criminal acts to 10 different state & federal law enforcement agencies, including the Securities & Exchange Commission for the illegal acquisition of his Fitch church building in Irvine, CA which he recently sold for millions of dollars. FYI Morey has been reported to 10 different law enforcement agencies for numerous criminal acts including securities fraud (read more about this on the current page of the blogspot "The Saint Augustinian" in the article "Criminal Fraud & Slander Routinely Practiced by "dr" Robert Morey of Faith Defenders). Unlike you I have attended church under this 'Great man of God' and have seen and heard ungodly things first hand. Sorry, morey is not a great man of God. His scholarship is shoddy and his ministry has crumbled. I noticed a very interesting phenomena, the closer one got to morey the greater the likelihood they would leave the church due to increased intimate engagement. Also, if you are going to quote a verse at me, at least use it in context.

Thank you for your insightful understanding of the current situation. Morey has violated the law by use of extortion to obtain money from the public under false pretenses and he knows it. His only defense is to try to hide this from as many people as he can so he can continue to secure financial support from uninformed followers for as long as he can. Good for you. Morey needs this exposure. He or his minions watch his site so closley and remove all comments critical of their infalliable leader. They have blocked me rather than engage. It is this failure to face the critics that has lead to his recent exposure. Please post more material if you have more.
