Babies feel MORE pain--just can't remember it, so that's a reason FOR doing it? "Pain and its Effects in the Human Neonate and Fetus." By K.J.S. Anand & P.R. Hickey. New England Journal of Medicine, November 19, 1987.

This is bs.

@e36maf3 Nothing. I just think that if people are going to cut boys' penises off, they should do it when they are babies so that they will be less aware of how much pain they are in. geez

I could care less for this "appeal to Authority" argument. I obly accept appela to valid data--and the empirical data says NOT!
As for research, you would have found this out if, instead of looking for OPINIONS, you did some actual RESEARCH.
Do some yourself and come back with a single PROVEN benefit, because I HAVE researched & not found any, but I have found many PROVEN disadvantages--up to and including death.

Actually they are recommended by the WHO - utterly neutral advice says it is better to be cut. So before you make your unfounded assertions why don't you actually do your research.

"Civilization vs uncircumcized Philistines. Circumcision is a sign of civilization.
No matter what you want to call it, stupidity is stupidity!
HOW is it best for an infants? ANY evidence that shows it is?--- scientific EVIDENCE, not superstitious beliefs!
-
So, all you have are OPINIONS? How do those OPINIONS stack up against the EMPIRICAL real world evidence that says NOT?
Gullible people accept "appeal to authority", rational people accept "appeal to valid evidence"...AKA REALITY!
I am a Muslim but when I have a son, I will let him choose whether he wants to be cut or uncut

@Haskin225
How can rational people respect a superstitious belief system that mandates the genital mutilation of children? They will get it when they become civilized and earn it.
