This is one of my favourite mountain roads descending more then1km down into the valley below. Teviot is a steep mountain road in South East Queensland that is only one lane wide for most of the way. It does carry traffic both directions so extreme care is required on the cliff edge. You want to have very good brakes to descend at this speed. There are 3 nice little jumps at the end too. ;)
Is the Head road , and only the bottom section . You should have done the whole thing from Queen Mary falls , It was an exellent trip when the whole thing was a dirt road and raw creek crossings , was a fast trip in the rally car . I think they ruined it with bitumen.

@jack01380 would have been deadly when it was dirt! Same thing happened to my local roads where I was brought up. The other road from Killarney through the valley to the head road is a nice drive over many creek crossings still (and is still dirt!) :)

Woh sick road, how smooth is the surface?

Repairs and pot holes for most of it, and deceptively steep. I was braking for most of the video.

Yikes! So what happens when someone is coming UP the road just as fast?

Best to have some one go slowly first to make sure it is clear. Thanks for the comment. Your videos are awesome.
