The Creative, Art, and Game Directors of "Darksiders II" explain the how and why behind their choice of protagonist: Death. While War set the stage, Death brings to the sequel a completely new narrative and play-style to match the exciting and expansive new settings which will include both heaven and hell. Developed by Vigil Games, Darksiders II will be coming to Xbox 360, PC, PS3, and Wii U later in 2012.

I really hope they tweak it a bit I mean you fight in war it's understood you'd want to fight against it but death, their should be alot more subtle knife play with such a character. Something you can't hide from, fight against or outrun, the image of a composed, calm and possibly compassionate death dealer would be so very fitting after all, this is Death. A being that has seen the start and will see the end of all things, how insignificant would the universe seem to such a creature.

I am so glad they decided to put more characters and get us more involved in the plot, I really thought that was lacking in the first game.
