On October 18, 2009, people around the world came together to spread love and kindness through the simple gesture of a free hug as they participated in Global Free Hugs III. We heard back from huggers on six continents, and 16 countries in countless locations and Archbishop Desmond Tutu once again participated. Although everyone wasn't able to provide pictures of their hug experiences, they were part of an amazing event to lift world citizen's spirits through connecting with people one hug at a time.
GFH III Hug locations: Continent's: Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America; Country's: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela.
We hold this event twice a year (third Sunday in April and first Saturday in October) with the intention of getting huggers on each continent, as many countries as possible, all 50 US States, and global peace leaders. So share our vision with others, and lets continue to let people know they matter. Global Free Hugs IV is Sunday, April 18th, 2010.
Thank You huggers, huggees, DH Facilitadores, and Humanities Team for continuing to spread kindness! Thank You Juan Mann for creating the free hug movement.
Email Carol at positive-focus dot com to be put on the hug list for GFH IV as we would love to have you join us!
