I don't understand how you could consider what is going on in BATMAN as "Innovative" The council of owls is like a dozen other villain organizations we've seen in the last two decades

@Ca1ne1 The story content was good but not exceptional, I'll agree. The innovation was in the execution. Representing Bruce's crumbling sanity and confusion by LITERALLY FLIPPING THE DAMN BOOK is one of the most fun things I've seen done in comics in years. Gimmicky for sure, but absolutely fun. I actually laughed out loud like a madman when I realized what was happening.

@DanielTran4 Morning Glories. It's been fairly low-key for a few months, but this issue...oh man. By the time I reached the last page I was actually angry at it for so skillfully manipulating my feelings (and I mean that in the best way possible!).
