A Better Place is a student film made by Greg Scalzo at Rhode Island School of Design during 1994 and 1995. It is a musical-comedy that tells the story of a day in the life of an average American business man who deals with his troubles by spontaneously breaking out into song.

In this behind the scenes look at the movie you will see interviews with the cast and crew as they toil through an exhausting day of shooting at an office building in Norwalk Connecticut. The probing interviews and historic documentary footage were shot by Richard Scalzo, Jr., the director's brother on February 11, 1995. He also appears in the scenes which were being shot on the day.
