This is part two of The "Old KOHI Garden Spot" for Jan 9, 2010 which airs Saturday morning at about 8:00 am on KOHI, AM 1600 in St.Helens Oregon. Chip Bubl and I do two 5 minute segments where we talk about local gardening issues and some of the questions he receives as the County Ag. Agent for Columbia County. I'm using the ZOOM Q3 to capture the video but the audio is just from the ZOOM's mike as there is no line input to capture the actual audio feed. We record the audio on a SONY CDR-W33 using an AKG D140 E mike and a Behringer UB502 mixer. Chip delivers the CD to the station for air play. Intro music and outgoing music is from a SONY Mini Disc player with tunes from some of my past bluegrass days. When I'm in Mexico we do the show via Skype from a script Chip emails to me. I record and edit the sound as needed, add music and email the show to Marty at KOHI. Crude but effective! db
