@AmgNoWai hey if im correct.. johnny cash, social D, jewel.. al have at least one song with only 3 chords.. writing a song involves emotion and truth.. the rest comes.. pop doesnt need a bunch of shit.. have u heard john mayer.. he has songs like who says.. which are talent and ones with 2 chords for almost the who song.. clarity.. its how you feel dumbass.. its an art form

idk i normally just write via emotion... lyrics, chords, timing, set up and structure of a song..i believe thats a only truthful way to write it.. and its very therapeutical
