I Don't want to rain on the parade but my Firewinder failed to light up after a couple of weeks. I got a replacement and that was the same and now it sounds as if the bearings inside have all corroded. Nice idea though.

I wonder if you in fact read all the instructions? firewinder is not to be abandoned to the elements but afforded a bit of care and attention - after all they're expensire and there's only 1,000 in the world. the ones that have go wrong are where people either don't read the instructionsproperly, or install them badly.
