Clint Strong ... for sure one of the best hard-bop guitarists around, hence benedito guitar endorsement. I remember seeing his 1st 6051 club gig in Dallas about late 70's - early 80's ... he was fronting a band with all the "tabu/recovery room" heavy weights ... had a whole host of Pass/Martino/Hall licks but no set style so where his solos would go would be anyones guess. Sure wish he played more now him ... very rare to get to see him or Jason Bucklin
