My Sharona, Drivers Seat and this song was played on the radio constantly back in 1979. Music was changing back to the three minute pop tune and it was great, wiping all that corporate, classic rock shit off the map (for a while anyway).

Written by the very underrated Keith Boyce, a much heavier version can be heard on the Heavy Metal Kids, "Hit The Right Button" CD.

Real classic pop/rock tune written in the best tradition.

@MrAxeEdent You're defenitley right i will never go back to listening to FM radio, its already considered dead since good music is being shoved aside just like television. And yes indeed I'm the same way like you I also like going on youtube as i can type down the the artiste and song title and it'll direct to it easy.

@1979cl1 Cool. When you get a chance, get it installed and i can almost assure you that you wont go back to regular FM radio. Its so cool when you can actually listen all day to 80s music with no commercials. Thats why I like going on YouTube as well....its like listening on demand to killer jams!

@MrAxeEdent I do have that channel in my Dish Network account, its a good channel ands I know that show Party 360 but i need sattelite radio installed for my car and i won't able to install one until i payoff all my dept I have. If you also have itunes in your PC there's alot of good alternative stations that will play the old school alternative classics!!

@1979cl1 Get Sirius and there is a channel, First Wave #22. They play good stuff and on Fridays, they have this show called Party 360. Its 360 minutes of classic tunes you and I havent heard of in years! Im glad I bought a good amount of 80s and still have it. You should check it out satellite.

@MrAxeEdent And yes KROQ stopped playing the good oole tunes which is not good. If a station like KLOS has the commitment to play classic rock, why can't KROQ does the same by playing the good old alternative classics? The only person will do that would be Rodney on the Roq but he's on too late at Sundays nights or early Monday mornings(12:00-2:00am) and only once a week. The only old stuff i still hear is the Ramones "Wanna Be Sedated" and a few others but thats it and thats not good!

@MrAxeEdent You're on the right track, satellite radio or also internet radio is the only place to find stations that makes room to play the good stuff that KROQ use to play, Blondie, GoGos, Cars, The Jam, X, Ian Dury, Bram Tchaikovsky, The Records, 20/20, Sex Pistols, Clash, Rachel Sweet and so on. For awhile a local station 103.1 is a good station playing the old stuff along with the new which was good balance but they wnet to internet which i can lsiten to them there but not in my car radio.

@1979cl1 Well thats cool. Thats why I switched to satellite cause KROQ just stopped playing the good ole tunes. I know times change, but they tend to forget what kind of music put them on the map.

I have no idea but i believe they still do and they have to because the last time I heard the station when i drove to the san diego area to spend my time at Balboa Park and i listen to 91x and heard them playing the Cars Let The good Times Roll which that was about the same time when Bram Tchaikovsky came out with this record. I can't always get 91x because i live here in Fullerton which i'm frustrated with KROQ ousting out the alternative classics or new wave stuff of the late 70s and 80s.
