ryanbanksryan, tips..take a can of puncture spray just in case, learn abit of the language, Ive been going to france on bikes since the mid 80s. Its a fantastic place on a bike, they treat you like a VIP. Ive had my bike parked in hotel lobbies etc.They love them. Get used to other bikes waving constantly, they use a victory sign to wave, and if they pass you they stick theyre leg out! Take plenty of photos and enjoy the trip. Im off to the south and alps this summer,cant wait.

Hey buddy, I'm planning a France + Spain trip for this summer. Never done a trip like this before, do you have any tips or hints for me? also, how much did it cost you day to day for petrol, camping, food etc? any info would be a great help as I'm traveling on my ow. Thank you

Nice places, judging from the pictures. It's great to be there by your own means, it's a shame one needs a lot of money nowadays to do a European trip.
