my autistic grandson JACK LIKES DOGS

my pdd-nos 6 year old grandson JACK LOVES DOGS. He especially likes my 13 year old dog, MOOKIE, a jindo-chow mix rescued from the pound ten years ago. Autistic (and non-autistic) children can talk to dogs, hug dogs, and (in the case of patient Mookie) even pour dirt on dogs. I think dogs bring JACK into the "real" world of loving things.
