Two quick clips shot from about 4 feet away showing what the Vortech and the A&A Turbosmart Supercharger Bypass / Blowoff valves sound like. They are mounted on an A&A Supercharger kit with a Paxton Novi 1500 head unit pullied with a 3.4" dia pulley

  • What is that flutter sound when you 1st let off the gas at 21 sec? Mine does that on the Turbo XS and Tial 50mm.. Is it compressor surge??

  • @camminc5 No, it is real flutter: when you let off the throttle blade closes but the blower is still spinning at speed, so a pressure spike occurs, slamming the valve fully open. The valve springs back from that position, overshooting into a partially closed position, which once again causes a pressure spike, slamming it open. As this happens the valve opens and closes making the airflow vary, making that flutter sound. I think its pretty neat :)

  • where did u get those filters on the end of the bov valve?

  • @Danthevicman2 Came with them, from A&A.
