Alan Rosenberg speaks to the SAG members gathered together in solidarity to enjoy the sunshine, comaraderie and speakers that were there to inform the members of the dire importance of voting NO on the Theatrical/Television contract ballot being sent out today to the membership to vote up or down. Vote NO! Your Future Depends upon it!

  • There is a difference between slander and personal opinion. My personal opinion of Rosenberg is that he botched the negotiations. When it was clear that there was an impasse last year we should have signed the contract or called for a strike authorization. Instead he did nothing, only calling for a strike auth in October. I say he's a big dummy, that's about the nicest thing I can say. If that's slander then I'll be looking for the subpoena in the mail (LOL).

  • TY for your personal Opinion, but this isn't about any one individual. It is about the Members of the Screen Actors Guild. Of course it is comments such as yours that keeps the thoughts of many in anger, confusion, & in the past that no longer exist. From Dollar One! A Fair Contract is Fair! Vote NO & send them back to the table till they get it right! Vote NO! SAG incumbent Prexy, Sec/Treasure, Natl. 1st VP & a former SAG Prexy, Ed Asner are Voting NO! Walk a mile in his shoes, b4 u ridicule.

  • I posted this notice due to a post I removed. Just in case anyone wondered?

  • "History is a great teacher. Now everyone knows that the labor movement did not diminish the strength of the nation but enlarged it. By raising the living standards of millions, labor miraculously created a market for industry and lifted the whole nation to undreamed of levels of production. Those who attack labor forget these simple truths, but history remembers them." Martin Luther King Jr.

  • I didn't know about the groups in SAG either til now.I just know that the yes group seems to be more AFTRA oriented,Voice-over people etc.The 1 THING I DO KNOW is what's in front of us RIGHT NOW is a Death Sentence. Everyone's fighting over 'the next move' when we haven't even dealt with what's in front of us now. A Death Sentence for EVERYONE below star level. If you don't Vote NO our futures are gone forever, and we'll NEVER get them back.Vote NO for us ALL even the people that don't understand

  • The only INFORMED vote is a NO vote. Don't accept the scraps from the table. We can and will defeat this absurd contract. If not for ourselves, for the retired actors who are responsible for the achievements we enjoy today, and for the future of actors to come who may someday be voting on key measures that will affect our livelihood. Stand together--vote NO
