I met Krista Detor in Lebanon, Tennessee. We' d communicated many times before that. I was doing a house concert and she drove down from Indiana to surprise me. She ended up doing an opening set, then introduced me, a special day. I love her work. It's intelligent, sensual, mysterious, surreal. I hear a cello when she sings, see a dark hallway that leads out toward sunlight, a cornfield where girls pull the silk from the husks. I made this video after hearing her and David do a show in Vancouver. A number of the photographs are ones I took during the concert. Enjoy. DL

Thank you so much, Duke, for posting this glorious song and collection of beautiful photographs of Krista. I love this song. It's funny, though ~ practically every song I hear of hers that plays randomly on my iPod, I think "Ah...my favorite!"
