@pneumatonic if they'd play this in elevators i would constantly fear of getting stuck along half the way.

The part where everything just gradually slows down is fantastic.

love this song soo much. if you listen to this on top primo speakers / headphones, and listen to it in flac or high quality you can pick up alot of detail. sounds like a voice(?) or something along those lines is hidden among the drums at some points in the track.

deadmau5 is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better

This track always puts a lump in my throat for sounding soooo sorrowful and beautiful at the same time :-) ...Autechre's music is getting me through another break up

@keggg1234 how about we call it good stuff

@keggg1234 Well I get what you mean but I don't like how "experimental" implies that the music is made just as an experiment, not as a work of art...
haha but that sounds way too serious. *enjoys ae*
If you like this you'll like JS Bach. Seriously.

This song is really a study in 3 part patterns laid on top of 4 part patterns. In the first two minutes the beat follows a 3-measure cycle, which causes friction against the 8-bar melody. The beat mutates a little bit with each repetition so there is a constant sense of shifting. The rest of the song, the beat settles on a one-bar repeating pattern. But at 4:26 or so, the weirdly-processed-banjo starts playing a 3-bar cycle, which causes constant shifting against the main 8-bar pattern. Genius.
