The story was definetely well thought-out, in my opinion. If this game wasn't called "Dino Crisis 3", but something like "Dino Crisis: Evolution" or something, fans would considirate it a great spin-off, but no, Capcom desided to slap the magic number.

Still, good story.

@AlexDergousov Yeah I agree the story in Dino Crisis 3 was very well thought-out. It's a shame that some design decisions of the game led this to be banished by critics because as a whole for what it is, this is a very interesting game and I actually really liked the story. It's funny though, I must get a comment every single day from a person saying "DINO CRISIS 3 SUCKS" well 9 times out of 10 they haven't actually played it which ticks me off.

So let me get this straight: The crew was dying because of cosmic waves, so the captain ordered M.O.T.H.R. to create clones of them, but she, the idiot that she is, added dinosaur DNA to human DNA, in result creating the dinosaurs?! How was that suppose to create human beings?! (and by the way, where did they get dinosaur DNA in SPACE anyway?). And she also made android clones of Caren.

@AlexDergousov Yeah the ship was struck by Cosmic waves 300 years earlier and the Captain asked MTHR to continue the mission by re-creating the original crew, however MTHR became insane over years alone and used Dinosaur DNA to help create humans - which didn't work as the 'failures' ran loose around the ship. Yes she made androids of Caren in an attempt to re-create the crew.

Well, i wouldn't call the story good, mostly because of its presentation through capcom trademark cheesy and stupid dialogs and characters, but it does seem to have it's moments. And no, MTHR didn't seem to go against the orders the slightest - she was ordered to create humans perfect for colonization, she did that. They just weren't fully human after that.

Somewhat unfair I think. Isn't this like what went on in America a while back with mass racism. I'm thinking the grandfather clause in which if any person had more than...1/8th 'black' blood then they were to be treated as black people, which in them days were no better than slaves.

Patrick is judging them based on their DNA only.
