After having two dreadlocks for the past seven months I decided it was time for another, and that maybe I should do it for a video! Hope you guys enjoy!

  • did u ever brush ur hair Jesus

  • @lee3159 A: I'm not Jesus, though we do bear a striking resemblance.

B: Yes, occasionally. Ok, not really. Doesn't matter.

  • so all you do is backcomb it? will it do that cool thing, where it like.. makes loops and stuff (if you know what i mean xD) and what does wrapping them do? will that prevent them from doing the cool wavey thing?

  • @xShadowKittyx C: Once you've had your dreads for a few months/whenever you're really comfortable you can wrap them to make them look cooler, but wrapping isn't necessary.

D: The "cool wavey thing" happens usually when someone has curly or wavy hair, but even when wrapped it can still happen. I would recommend letting your dreads mature for a few months before wrapping, however.

    Hope this helped!

  • @x5Minutes2Midnightx oh sweet, thanks so much for the help :3

i was also wondering how you wash your hair? because i though you aren't supposed to condition dreads and stuff, but when they're mixed in with the rest of your hair, how do you wash your normal hair? ><

  • @xShadowKittyx For the first few weeks I didn't use any conditioner, just shampoo. It really depends on the hair type because straight hair is more likely to "un dread" in the shower than curly hair. Now I use shampoo and a bit of conditioner, and it doesn't do much because I don't let it saturate or sit on the dreads for too long!

  • @x5Minutes2Midnightx alright cool, guess i'll just have to be careful 'cause i've got straight hair. xP but thanks so much, i've got one now :'D

  • @xShadowKittyx I love your questions!

A: You can backcomb it, twist and rip, just rubberband and let it go wild, and/or palmrole to help!

B: Makes loops? If you want a loop at the end you can to that by yourself by looping it around and rubberbanding it, but if you mean the bumps and curves in my dreads they happen usually when you have curly hair but some people with straight hair can get them too!

I'll post one more extended comment!

  • @gypsycobful I'm not very good at writing music, and I actually can't read irish penny whistle music. I taught myself everything I know by ear. I'm really sorry!
