Far Leys (aka Sketch 1, untitled original) by Nick Drake

This is Nick's instrumental guitar piece "Far Leys" (aka "Sketch 1" and "Untitled Original"). I transcribed the version I'm playing from the "Tanworth In Arden II" bootleg LP (and I'm finally done cleaning up and digitizing the tab if anyone wants a copy!). Unfortunately, the entire piece was never legally released on any of Nick's albums.

A very truncated version appeared on the 2007 "Family Tree" album as a track called "Sketch 1," and, sadly, only contains the last minute or so of the piece.

Absolutely stunning. This song captured my ears so badly I didn't want it to end. It has some of the most beautiful sounds a guitar can make. Thanks for your interpretation of the song, I am aware the song was a sketch at the time Drake recorded it, but yours just fills our hunger of Nick's music. Again...thanks!
