I need help ! can someone help me put a map in mine ? my unit has only the main freeway on the dam thing. Thats how it came with no CD for a real map with streets. I have the same GPS as you see on this video but no details.

Advice: Use it with the compass off, otherwise it will judder about as you stand still - mine does the same. Plus the compass eats battery power, so really only switch compass on when you really need it.
Don't forget you'll get an accurate direction once you start moving, so you shouldn't need to switch the compass on.

To open the back.Twist the ring in the middle of the back of the etrex,a quarter of a turn anti-clockwise and pull,put back on by twisting clockwise
