@gc511 Dont sleep at all for 24 hours, i promise you, you will the night after =]

I tend to sleep in my left side, and so i use a pillow to rest my right arm on to get some height to it, (I hve quite broad shoulders)
Personally, i like hving my head dipped backwards because it opens up my throat and allows me to breathe easier, if i lean it foreward, i will wake up wit ha sore throat...
Just sharing my presonal experiences, but thank you for the tip on using pillows for your legs!

Hi there. I would recommend having a consultation with a reputable chiropractor in your area. It sounds like you have had a lot going on for the past year now, and a chiropractor will be able to diagnose, treat your condition, and offer home exercises/solutions. Of course, if your back pain is due to a more serious issue, he or she will refer you to the appropriate physician. Good luck.
Regards,
Dr. Tu

I'd also like to add... anyone who is having trouble falling asleep on a regular basis or has any condition that might be related to sleep apnea, should consult with your physician.

@yusofhardy
So you sleep like a "rotisserie chicken?" As long as you feel rested in the morning, I would not worry too much about tossing and turning. Otherwise, try the stretching suggested above prior to sleeping.

I sleep in my stomach most of the times. I find it more relaxing sometimes. =)
Is it really that horrible to sleep in your stomach?
Excril 1 year ago
@Excril Sleeping on your stomach can creates torsional stress to your spine, especially with your neck being turned for a long period of time. Many people who sleep on their stomach end up having neck problems including chronic pain in the neck with turning of their head and even headaches. I would recommend sleeping on your side with a body pillow and encourage you to break the habit of sleeping on your stomach
