@Summerskin90 .up and coming portrait artist, would love to see some examples

How much did that cost please?..its almost like the tattooists are embaressed to say how much these art works cost. Is it because of the ridiculous high price?...very nice work by the way , i would pay 80gbp.

crappy tattoo, done very badly.

And also, what makes my clients relax is my portfolio. I let my art do all the talking, that's what it comes down to in the end. There are some people that are COVERED in tattoos, and guess what: he gave me a shitty tattoo. So being covered doesn't mean squat: keep a portfolio, and be a true artist.
You go girl!

I don't know. I'm an up and coming female tattoo artist and I specialize in portraits especially, and I do have seven tattoos. The only ones that I show when I want is one on my upper arm, one on my upper thigh, and one at the base of my neck.
I love art, and have committed my entire life to it, but my family would completely and utterly disown me if I covered myself in tattoos. I will continue to get more that I can hide, but I cannot shame my family; they're my world.

I have been tattooing since 1986 and while there are better tattooers than me out there I do neat work. You gotta be able to lay down a clean straight line, do smooth shading & depth of tone and solid colour.
Granted, the area she is working on is extremely difficult, but fuck, forget what she looks like boys and take a look at the QUALITY. Stop the tape @3:22 and open your freakin eyes.!! lol. she`s a fucking hack and while ever you fools are pissing in her pocket she will continue to hack.

i would get a boner if this secretary looking girl tattood me... ohh
thanks for the feedback guys. I think the 22hrs of work i have undergone would qualify me in 'knowing what it feels like to be under the needle' i get a lot of comments about the lack of visible tattoos but funily enough not from my clients, they come to me because of the clean, relaxed and friendly atmosphere that welcomes them, there is not ego or attitude that is often experienced in other studios. Judge me by the standard of my work and not by the way i look! appearances are very decieving!

lol chuckjoris, interesting take.
I've had work by this tattooist and I can tell ya two things...
1. She does have tattoos, just not visible on her arms.
2. I've had 4 tattoos, the last one by her, and the quality of her work makes the other 2 tattooist I've used look like scratchers and they were covered in tatts.
I guess most people are more interested in the quality of work than how the person doing the work chooses to look...
PS my mechanic rides a BMX and my barber is bald ;)
