This is an IPhone video of a medical procedure during my visit to the ER of a hospital in San Francisco. I had a gash of 2-3 centimeters on the palm of my right hand caused by the stem of a glass breaking in my palm while I was hand-washing dishes. The gash required three sutures. Viewing is not recommended for the squeamish.

  • Why did they not numb it first?

  • @jetdriver26 They did, but they had to numb it again!

  • I had three stitches for 10 days, then a few more days of care after that. It's healed very well. Avoid getting it wet and go to your doctor if you see any redness, swelling, streaking or color changes in the wound. Heal well!

  • let me know how long it took to heal i cut mine on glass too lol

  • @yourbiggestmistake18 about three weeks
