Some random footage of my fowl doing things that fowl do, such as dabbling and mucking up their water (only took em 20 mins to turn that water dirt brown). Normally this could be curtailed by having gravel ground cover around the pool area (in this case, I added another couple of inches of mulch around the pool, which helped), but this is temporary and they have a separate bucket of clean drinking water over in the small kennel where the food is.

  • So cute! I have done the blue kiddie-pool thing in the past, and nothing keeps it clean! They will get the dirt below the mulch looking for worms! LOL! What kind of goose? Goose or gander?

  • Thanks :) You can actually line the pool area with plastic or hardware cloth, and lay pee gravel over it to help keep the dirt down, you just have to make sure it's done properly as to allow drainage. I didn't do it here because this set up is only temporary. The gander is a Brown African.
