I just bought the DVD. Good movie and amazing how close they came to employing operation valkyrie. Cruise was a bit of a distraction. Whenever he was on screen I kept thinking about him in Top Gun,
Definitely worth watching. Second half of the film is great

Germans characters speaking English NEVER works. Ruined the film for me

I saw this movie because I love and respect Bryan Singer - talented director. "Valkyrie" was ok but I didn't feel the atmosphere of that period in our history. "Enemy at the Gates" (2001) and "Black Book" (2006) were much better films. I actually enjoyed Tom Cruise's performance but he did not take the lead as strongly as he should have. His non-German accent was not an issue it was the strength that he displayed in his performance that was disappointing to many. The supporting cast was superb

jew propaganda bullshit.

I wish Bryan Singer had the balls to not make such a one sided movie. Singer is a closet Adolf Hitler fan like most Jews today. They envy Hitler because of the lie they carry around till this day. Singer has made 4 or 5 movies that show German or Nazi history. He should make a true National Socialist movie and leave all the bias Jewish propaganda out.

Heil is similar to hail in english
-
No No Heil is a salute hello in German is Hallo and has been for the past 800 or however many years its been around the heil crap was only around wen hitler made everyone say it and this film was great and its funny how they mostly had English accents in it

What's all this about the July 20th plot being 'little known'? It's well documented in numerous books, I'd suggest the Ian Kershaw Hitler Biog which goes into it in very considerable detail.
"Heil" way a way to say hello in germany ,
"Petrie Heil" is something you say to Fishermans, "Waldmans Heil" you say to Hunters, and "Sieg Heil" you said, when you saw Hitler, and because "Sieg Heil" Is often associated with Nazis, Germans don't use it anymore today.

I love how every time a movie like this comes out in english all the nazis have a english accent instead of a german accent.
