Better question is what's the point of this video?
Doesn't tell much about the games gameplay features...

@JGD1985 how about many young people only finding out about shenmue now or in recent years

@UndeadPirate98 try ebay. although I wouldn't play burned shenmue on dreamcast as all the voices are gone and loading times are terrible
-
@FightFireWithFire82 it sold almost a million copies in usa on a 4 million installer base at the time. yes it was way ahead of it's time. look at how well heavy rain sold but saying the game was a failure is not true. it sold well

As incredibly innovative and mind blowing this game was, it just wasn't something that was going to catch on in a U.S. market that was obsessed with endless violence, sex, and gore in their games. Such a shame too, as even today it is an absolutely stunning achievement.

:( I'm in lebanon i really cant find dreamcasts for sale i really wanna buy one i have this on a burned CD JUST Waiting to buy a DC

@JGD1985 Well, now I have the game, and I hope to get Shenmue 2 someday.

@Sonical529 If you were too young to buy a Dreamcast back then, then I guess you have a good excuse. But the people who keep pushing for Shenmue 3 but never bought the first games or the Dreamcast back in the day have no excuse. I remember buying them when they came out and supporting the series.

You know why SEGA should make Shenmue 3? Here's why...
I wan't Shenmue ever since I was 9 years old (long after the Dreamcast was discontinued), but I wasn't allowed to have it until I was 13. When I was 13, Shenmue became so valuable that there was no way my humble allowance could have afforded it. I avoided spending my allowance for 3 years and now I'm patiently awaiting my order to come, and I hope to import Shenmue 2 afterwards. I wasn't even part of the Dreamcast generation!

I heard this game had a budget of $70 million but profit was less than $10 million, lol

On March 2, 2011, Yu Suzuki appeared at the Game Developer's Conference 2011 (marking his first appearence in America). When he was asked about Shenmue 3, he said: "I think SEGA will let me make it…it's a matter of budget…we have to make it in an affordable way."[32]
Dreamcast = Anti-Aiasing
PS2 = Crappy/No Anti-Aliasing
Sometimes a small thing makes the difference.
