This is so cool! I'm gonna attach it to one of those scarves you can make out of tshirts (:

This would also make a nice brooch with attatched pin back or a choker necklace on a ribbon!

Nice, but you need to back up to video it. Some of the shots don't show what you're doing and I'm completely craft stupid. :)

@bluefairyfreak Thanks for the tip, bluefairy... I've since switched to shooting my videos with a tripod, and I think it's an improvement :)

Thank you so much for this video! I've got so many old tshirts tht i thought would go to waste (i only need so many washing rags, lol!) Just one question: what can we do to prevent fraying (on other fabrics)?
realityabyss 2 months ago
@realityabyss I wouldn't recommend making these with a non-jersey fabric, precisely because of the fraying. However, if you're interested in a hairclip tutorial that uses scraps from your cotton or linen shirts, watch my "How to Make Pinwheel Hairclips" video :)

what is the name of the tool you are using? the circular cutting thingie? Not a crafty person (other than a glue gun) all this stuff is new to me LOL

@sgrho2004 It's called a rotary cutter. Unless you're a quilter or a big-time sewer, you don't need one, you can just use scissors :)
