  • About the picture at 3:05 to 3:07, they always took an annual picture of the stars, although I've never seen them carry signs like that. They always stood or sat in rows.

  • @xander7ful Yes, MGM (and most of the other big studios) did take annual "family photos." I can't remember where I found this one, but I think the "signs" here were actually labels that someone pasted on the photograph later to identify all the sitters.
