dragonball will never die its got a new movie and the movie gonna be a trilogy its gonna be here for a while a 100 episdoe remake which is gonna last like 2-3 years and they are making more video games i dont think dragonball will be leaving anytime soon

If you didn't now, TOEI and Akira Toriyama have agreed to remake DBZ into Dragon Ball Kai, a remastered, Hi-def version of our favorite show with less filler, more straight-to-the-point action & dialogue.

I believe this is a wise moves since the Fox Dragonball Evolution is not the way Akira would want his beloved characters to be presented to todays children.

from what i uderstand dragonball kai is going to be diffrent this is from the old show its gonna have new fight sequances and everything like ironi kenshin fights

the also recorded the voices again...so its not just remastered

Yoooooo!!!! You gave me a great idea but at the same time now i'm worried funimation will beat me to it. I've always wanted to edit down the dragonball sagas removing ALL FILLER but i don't know how and by the time i do funimation will probably release a no-filler version of dbz. I mean, they've alreadyu released most of it remastered so...

I think they're just remastering the old footage for HD and putting better special effects. They are also taking out all the filler to better fit the original manga.
