Hosted at the residence of the French Ambassador. This conference was devoted to discussing the reform of global governance. The panel was composed of:

- Hubert Védrine: Foreign Minister 1997-2002
- Christian de Boissieu: President of the Economic Analysis Council
- Robin Niblett: Director of Chatham House
- Gideon Rachman: Chief Foreign Affairs Editor of the Financial Times and author of "Zero-Sum World"
The panel focused on the G20's record to date and the challenges it must take up, like the internationalization of the Renminbi and more effective coordination between the different international organizations. The G20's dynamics and the balance of power within it were discussed, as was the issue of cohabitation between the G8 and the G20.
