Portals - The Real Cake

I finished the game a long time ago and just found this extra chapter in the game when you start a new game. It wasn't there before.

I think it may have something to do with me passing the fastest time in the last bonus map.

@nazemec First time I played it I tried to do everything she said to recieve my cake... Resulting in me either getting killed or nothing happened :(

@fandhstudios no, it's because Microsoft doesn't allow custom user created content to be used the xbox. It's because Microsoft is kinda paranoid with mods and thinks that everybody is trying to hack. This is on the PC, and no, this isn't standard in Portal 1, it's a custom map somebody made inspired by the screen you see when you finish the game and watched the credits.

how do you put a custom map in the list of the other levels?

This is the area you see on the main title screen after you beat the game. The ASHPD stand was used for camera placement. The rest of the level was likely just a test.

@nazemec No, GLaDOS wants you to scape. she wanted to get killed. she was trying to get free. When you kill her, she realises that she will be reinstalled from a backup over and over again, she realises she cant die. (Still alive).

So she gives you the only posibility to scape, so then you kill her.

@nazemec it was if you saw the updated ending, when you fall on the floor the robot/party escort says "thank you for making the aperture science submission position descision" and drags you away.

this looks realistic, but it's fake. He created the map, then he added it to the normal campaign maps (somehow), and he played it. Anyway he did a pretty good job, I mean, the map is good and adding it to the campaign map list is hard (I presume)
