  • Brownsville Station opened with an enlivened version of Link Wray's “The Rumble,” setting the tone after the sun went down, and perfect for this Detroit crowd. The explosive style n which this classic was enacted brought a renewed burst of energy into the entire auditorium. Lead guitarist Cub Koda, with his big black glasses moved about the stage w the sound & motions of an uncontrollable locomotive jumping from track to track. His guitar playing was maniacal as an animated genie! Aquinas 1970
