I'll agree that Christus is a wonderful work that is heard all too seldom but your title is a bit of a cheat since the music is the piano transcription of the Shepherds' Song, not the orchestral version.

this is just a small part of the colossal oratorium "Christus" written between 1862-67 by the gigantic hungarian Franz Liszt, pure religious music, passionate and ecstasy filled, although this piece in particuñar is rather joyful
