@irish89055 Couldn't agree with you more! Thanks for saying that! I'm finding more and more NFL fans like myself who can't stand to watch the game these days,it's gone so badly downhill.The broadcasting, the coaching, the playing, it's not like the old days, not even close.

Everything was more professional back then, and they made a hell of alot less money doing it too!

We'll never have the NFL like it was in the old days,I feel sorry for any fan who has only known the NFL since the 90's.

I totally agree with you, 70's NFL football was the greatest era for football hands down! When football was truly great, no doubt about it.

In a way, the current introduction's use of the hosts and their names in the introduction is a modern take on the classic introduction with the host's name being used -- something that CBS did take off after 1989.
